In this fist-pumping, pulse-pounding graphic novel, Alex's unlikely rise as an underdog piloting his late brother's Rex will set him on a collision course with the fighter that holds the crown - the same man that killed his brother. Alex will have to confront the reasons he stepped into the cage, while waging a winner-takes-all battle for the title of Rex Champion.

Inglorious Rex is a passion project almost 10 years in the making. Shane Davis brings to this project over 20 years of experience as a professional comic book penciller and writer on projects such as DC Comic's Superman: Earth One, Batman, New Gods and more. He also co-created almost every member of DC Comic's Red Lanterns, including the world famous fan-favorite cat Dex-Starr the Red Lantern.

We are in the home stretch for the funding of Inglorious Rex 2, with the campaign slated to CLOSE OUT on 26th April at 11.59pm PST. What does this mean? It means once past that date, you will NOT be able to back this campaign anymore, whether it is on Indiegogo or on 9LivesComics.com.

We have a quick ART UPDATE for you guys today, showcasing some artwork from the supplemental book. One of the stories in the book will lead directly into the events of volume 2, and explain why the Viile are attacking Arc-City. We will be following a crack team out into the polluted wastelands on their SECRET MISSION.

If you want the FULL EXPERIENCE of Inglorious Rex, you definitely want to make sure you have picked up a copy of the supplemental book in the campaign!

We are planning to take down Inglorious Rex vol 2 on 26th April. In-demand ends on that date, and you will not be able to back the campaign after the 26th.

14th March 2023: CGC Signature Series Comics Added! Art Update!

We have a quick update to the project we want to announce before we show off our art update: due to backers' requests, we are giving you the chance to pick up CGC signed and graded copies of all of 9 Lives Comics' works to date!

Each book will be signed by both Shane Davis and Yanzi Lin, then graded and slabbed by CGC before they are mailed out to you. We are currently not limiting the number of copies for Starlight Cats #1 and Inglorious Rex #1. However, since we do not overprint our books by a lot, once stock starts running low, we will remove the CGC option for these 2 books.

And now for the promised art update! Here is a crazy spread of Rexes 232 and Razur fighting outside Arc-City. What are they fighting, and how will this battle be resolved? Be sure to back Inglorious Rex 2 to find out more!

24th February 2023: New Stretch Goals + Art Update!

THANK YOU all our awesome backers for all your support! We have some exciting new stretch goals we are announcing today, which includes an awesome Rex 232 magnet illustrated by Ghosthause!

All book backers will get this magnet if we hit $250,000 on this campaign before we close down in-demand, which will be happening shortly.

All stretch goals take into account the backing we have received on our website at 9 Lives Comics as well, so we are well on our way to $230k now!

In the past month, you guys really came through for 9 Lives Comics by supporting this campaign on our different platforms, and we really appreciate you guys for that.

Thanks to you guys, Inglorious Rex 2 can now be found directly on Google, and at position #2 to boot!

That couldn't have been possible without you all pushing and promoting the campaign for us, so we are eternally grateful for how you guys came in and backed us!

Merch Orders Update

We are planning on taking down all the merchandise on the campaign in the coming weeks so we will be able to send them in for manufacturing. That includes the hats, shirts, and yes, the lunch boxes as well. If there is a piece of merch you have been eyeing, now is the time to back it.
